1. Introduction

Welcome to Kognitrick Tools (hereinafter referred to as "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and all tools, services, and content provided on tools.kognitrick.com.

Kognitrick Tools provides a collection of free online tools for various purposes including text processing, security, design, math, time management, and QR/barcode generation. By using our services, you agree to:

  • Not use the tools for any illegal, harmful, or unauthorized activities.
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or exploit any tool or service.
  • Not upload or process any content that violates applicable laws or infringes on the rights of others.

3. Intellectual Property

All content, code, designs, trademarks, logos, and materials available on Kognitrick Tools are the exclusive property of Kognitrick and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Open Source Libraries: Some of our tools may use open-source libraries (e.g., Tesseract.js, JsBarcode, jsPDF). These are used in accordance with their respective licenses.

4. User Content

When you use our tools, you may upload images, text, or other content (collectively, "User Content"). By uploading User Content, you agree that:

  • Processing: All processing of User Content happens entirely within your browser. We do not store, copy, or share your User Content on our servers.
  • Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the User Content you upload. You warrant that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use and process the content.
  • Prohibited Content: You may not upload content that is illegal, offensive, defamatory, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others.
  • No Data Storage: We do not retain any User Content after your session ends. All processing is temporary and limited to your current browser session.

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate access if we believe User Content violates these Terms.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Kognitrick Tools is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim:

  • All implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
  • Any warranty that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components.
  • Any warranty regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the tools or results.

  • Tesseract.js: Used for OCR (Image-to-Text) functionality. Processing is done locally in your browser.
  • JsBarcode: Used for barcode generation. Processing is done locally in your browser.
  • jsPDF: Used for PDF generation. Processing is done locally in your browser.

We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
